Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

About the Role

CTO role for an international CFD broker in Cyprus. EU citizens or valid Cyprus/EU residency holders only. 5+ years experience in fintech or regulated brokerage required.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior technology role within the CFD, FX, fintech or regulated financial services industry
• European Union citizen or holder of valid residency permit in Cyprus or the EU (mandatory)
• Proven track record of leading technology teams and infrastructure in a regulated brokerage environment
• Deep understanding of trading platform architecture (MT4/MT5, proprietary platforms, or equivalent)
• Experience with cybersecurity, regulatory technology compliance, and system scalability
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Excellent English communication skills — additional European languages are an advantage

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full technology function of the brokerage — infrastructure, development, security, and support
• Define and execute the company's technology roadmap aligned with business growth objectives
• Oversee trading platform operations, connectivity, and system reliability
• Manage relationships with technology vendors, liquidity providers, and third-party integrations
• Ensure all technology infrastructure meets regulatory requirements (CySEC / EU frameworks)
• Build, mentor and scale the internal technology team
• Report directly to the CEO and Board on technology strategy and performance
