CIS & Central Asian Market Focus

This role focuses on Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and adjacent CIS markets. Russian language fluency is mandatory. Knowledge of local languages (Kazakh, Uzbek, Tajik, Kyrgyz) and cultural familiarity with the target markets is a strong advantage. The role is available fully remote or office-based depending on candidate location.

About the Role

International FX/CFD broker is hiring a Business Development Manager to develop the Central Asia and CIS markets — Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and beyond. Senior role with IB network and partnership focus. Russian fluency mandatory. Remote or office-based.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in business development, IB (Introducing Broker) management, or senior sales at a regulated FX/CFD broker — mandatory
  • Native or near-native fluency in Russian — mandatory
  • Kazakh, Uzbek, Tajik, or Kyrgyz language skills are a strong advantage
  • Established network of introducing brokers, affiliates, or trading communities in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, or other CIS markets — highly desirable
  • Proven track record of building and managing IB networks and partnership channels in the CIS or Central Asian region
  • Strong understanding of retail FX/CFD brokerage — trading conditions, commission structures, IB rebate models
  • Experience attending and representing a broker at regional financial events and expos — Money Expo, iFX, and similar
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills at both retail and institutional level
  • Ability to work independently and manage a regional P&L contribution
  • Familiarity with the regulatory landscape across CIS and Central Asian jurisdictions

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a business development strategy for the Central Asia and CIS region — Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and adjacent markets
  • Source, onboard, and manage introducing brokers, affiliates, white label partners, and regional representatives
  • Build and maintain direct relationships with high-value traders, trading communities, and local financial influencers in target markets
  • Represent the broker at regional industry events, expos, and networking functions
  • Negotiate partnership terms, rebate structures, and co-marketing arrangements with IB partners
  • Work with the marketing team to develop region-specific campaigns, localised content, and promotional materials
  • Provide regular reporting to senior management on regional pipeline, partner performance, and market intelligence
  • Identify new geographic sub-markets within Central Asia with growth potential and develop entry strategies
  • Monitor competitor activity in the region — products, pricing, IB commissions, and market positioning
  • Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure all regional business development activities comply with applicable regulations
